Hope Program
Serving Students and Families of the Chino Valley Unified School District
The HOPE Program is committed to serving all students and families of Chino Valley Unified School District by providing support and connections to community resources.
The HOPE Program brings several programs together to support our community's families and students regardless of household income, age, and legal status. HOPE provides support services for:
- CVUSD families with students K-12
- Students and families experiencing homelessness or in transition
- Families with children ages 0-5
ALL District students and families can be helped with the following services/referrals:
- Cal-Fresh/Cal Works, Medi-Cal/Covered CA application assistance
- Food and clothing
- Child care information/referrals
- Counseling
- Parent education
- Preschool referrals and more!
Program printables are available. Bilingual case managers are available by phone, email, or in person to assist with Medi-Cal & Cal Fresh applications, food bank referrals, and more.
Hope Program Initiatives Delivering Much-needed Resources
Community Care Closet - This program helps hundreds of families each year and is located at the HOPE Family Resource Center at the Chino Valley Adult School campus at 12970 Third Street, CA 91710. Families in need can visit and shop for clothing, emergency hygiene products, and school supplies at no cost to the family. Office Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Tykes/Nurturing Families - This program serves families with children, prenatal to age 5, who live in San Bernardino County. The focus of the program is to help parents build nurturing parenting skills while meeting the unique needs of families.
Homeless Innovation Program - This program improves the educational stability, access, support, and academic achievement of children and youth experiencing homelessness.
Mckinney-Vento Homeless Education CARE Program - This program Serves Chino Valley Unified School District's homeless students, unaccompanied youth, and their families by ensuring school stability and providing support services for academic success.
