State Mandate Increases Green Waste Costs
Assembly Bill (AB) 1594, effective January 1, 2020, will result in a monthly rate increase of $1.46 on the City of Chino Hills utility bill for the “trash service” line item, starting with the January bill. This State mandate required a change to how green waste is recycled for diversion credit, which resulted in increased costs for household customers. Find our more about Green Waste Recycling.
Holidays That Affect Trash Collection

Bulky Item Pickup
Republic Services offers residents three "FREE" pickups per calendar year for bulky household items like stoves, washers and dryers that are too large to put in the regular trash bin.
Your support of "Chino Hills Recycles" is a big step towards solving our waste problems now and into the future. The Chino Hills Recycles automated waste collection and recycling program helps control the volume of waste dumped into our landfills.
Chino Hills Recycles was designed with you in mind and requires very little effort. The program provides three 100-gallon containers and requires you to separate your recyclables, yard waste, and trash prior to collection day.
Household Hazardous Waste
Household Hazardous, Electronic (E-waste) or Universal Waste CANNOT be disposed of in your trash, recycle or green waste bins. San Bernardino County residents can take their Household Hazardous Waste to the San Bernardino County HHW Collection Center for disposal.
