Special Needs

The City of Chino Hills Community Services Department provides accommodations for those with Special Needs. If you or a family member has special needs and an interest in any of the classes or programs offered, please call the Community Services Coordinator. Staff are happy to discuss accommodations that can be made to help you or your family member feel more comfortable participating.

For more about our programs, please check out our quarterly Recreation Guide & City News.

Special Needs Activity Programming

The City of Chino Hills offers Special Needs Activity Programming to serve families in the community with special needs. Each year, the City hosts three social gatherings in the winter, summer, and fall that provide opportunities for fun, connection, and community in an inclusive environment.

Adaptive Play Features at City Parks

The City of Chino Hills is proud to provide inclusive play opportunities for children of all abilities. Several City parks feature adaptive swings designed to offer safe and fun play experiences. In addition, an adaptive oar was added at Crossroads Park in 2024, further expanding opportunities for accessible recreation.
