Eucalyptus Avenue Recycled Water Line & Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The City of Chino Hills is expanding its recycled water infrastructure along Eucalyptus Avenue and enhancing the roadway. This project aims to provide an environmentally sustainable water source for irrigation while also improving pavement conditions along a key thoroughfare in Chino Hills. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2025 and is anticipated to be completed by fall 2025.

Project Description:

The project will install approximately 6,100 linear feet of PVC recycled water main along Eucalyptus Avenue to provide irrigation for high water-consumption areas, including Crossroads Park, Veterans Park, and landscaped open spaces. This project will bring the City’s total to nearly 28 miles of recycled water lines in Chino Hills to further help reduce the demand on the City’s domestic water resources. The project will also include pavement rehabilitation work along Eucalyptus Avenue, from Chino Hills Parkway to Peyton Drive. This will involve grinding, asphalt concrete overlay, and striping.

Location:

Most of the work will be completed on Eucalyptus Avenue from Chino Hills Parkway to Peyton Drive. Work limits are shown in the Location Map.
