    LifeStream Blood Bank (LifeStream) has scheduled weekly Blood Drives at the City of Chino Hills due to the loss of other locations, and high demand for appointments and antibody testing. Appointments are recommended. Call 800-879-4484 to reserve a time. Blood Drives are scheduled from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Government Center parking lot located at 14077 Peyton Drive on the following dates: Tuesdays, September 22, 29, October 6, and 13. LifeStream is testing all complete blood donations for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This testing is provided free of charge as an additional benefit to donors. This test shows whether you have been exposed to the virus in the past, not if you are currently infected. LifeStream is following all protocols including social distancing, sanitation, and cleaning. Their staff are using personal protective equipment and all donors are required to wear face coverings.

    September 26, 2020, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ In the Parking lot at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center

    In honor of your COVID cleanouts, San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman, in partnership with the City of Chino Hills and the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department - Chino Hills Station, will be hosting a free document shredding event for all San Bernardino County residents. The event will be on Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. or until the truck is full, at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center, located at 14280 Peyton Drive, in Chino Hills. Please note, face masks/coverings are required. • Documents will be shredded on-site • Limit of 5 standard filing boxes per vehicle • No CD's, DVD's, binders, plastics, x-rays, etc. • Receive tips from law enforcement on how to protect your identity • San Bernardino County residents only

  4. Movies in the Park...ing Lot Featuring the Original Rocky Movie

    September 26, 2020, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Overflow Parking Lot at the Shoppes at Chino Hills

    The City of Chino Hills, in collaboration with the Shoppes at Chino Hills, is proud to present the third “Movies in the Park…ing Lot!” The original 1976 Rocky movie will be shown on a 50-foot big screen. The film is rated PG. Precautions will be in place due to COVID-19. Moviegoers must remain with their vehicles and watch the movie from inside their vehicles with two exceptions. Watching from an open-air truck bed, or from an SUV with the back door/hatch open, is allowed. Also, a maximum of two patrons may sit in chairs outside of their vehicle while maintaining six feet of physical distance from other patrons. However, congregating with patrons from other vehicles is prohibited. Vehicles will be spaced with six feet of physical distance. Restrooms will be available with physical distancing required. Restaurants at The Shoppes will be happy to take your order for pick-up. Select restaurants are offering a pay ahead and pickup option.
