The Information Technology Division is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of the citywide technology infrastructure, network and server architecture, enterprise business applications, voice and data communications, desktop computing systems, and the print management program. This operation provides for network and systems administration, application integration and support, desktop support services, asset management, and end user training in support of all City departments.
The Information Technology Division manages 60 maintenance contracts in support of hardware, business applications, and technical support with 45 vendors/service providers. The Information Technology staff supports in excess of 250 desktop/notebook computers and 60 servers at 13 different locations. We manage hosted services for residents and staff including Online Utility Bill Pay, Online Recreation Reservations, and GIS.
