The City of Chino Hills detected and corrected coliform bacteria levels in the drinking water. On March 8, 2017 the Water Distribution system HAD levels of coliform bacteria above the drinking water standard. Coliform bacteria are not harmful and there was no public health emergency. The system was flushed and new tests on March 9th detected NO coliform bacteria. To learn more, read the press release and notice to residents.
