The purpose of the Seniors Assisted by Visiting Volunteers and Youth (SAVVY) program is to improve the quality of life, health, nutrition
and safety of home-bound and senior residents of the City of Chino Hills by utilizing adult and youth volunteers. Seniors may volunteer for
this program to help another senior or, they may want to become a participant and request the assistance of a SAVVY volunteer! 

The SAVVY program strives to provide support for home-bound and senior residents by providing companionship. Volunteers in this program
are matched with seniors or home-bound residents and can assist them
in the following ways:
  • Visit and provide companionshipA volunteer with a program participant
  • Assist with telephone calls and paperwork
  • Pick up prescriptions
  • Assist with grocery shopping and errands
  • Help with greeting cards and mail
  • Assist in finding needed resources for repairs/services

Recreation Programming - Active Adults 55+
The Recreation Division has added new programs, trips, and events for adults ages 55 and older. Join us for informative classes, meet new people, and go on fabulous trips! Senior Lunches (Family Service Association)

Hot nutritious lunches are served daily.
Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Chino Senior Center, 13170 Central Ave., Chino

Senior Transportation
Omnilink is a demand-response transportation system providing curb-to-curb service for residents in Chino Hills.  Omnilink buses do not go on a regular route, but respond to customer’s telephone requests for service on a daily basis. There are three levels of service to choose from:
  • Same-day service
  • Advance reservations
  • Repeater service
