Hurricane Harvey Relief
The devastation in the Houston area has been extensive. The City of Chino Hills expresses our deepest sympathy to the people of Texas who have lost so much. Our community has a giving heart and they have asked the City of Chino Hills for ways in which they can help the people who have been affected.

After significant research, we have found that many Texas and local charities that were accepting donations of items like blankets, pillows, and toiletries, have reached their capacity and are no longer accepting donation of material goods.

Financial Donations Are The Best Way To Help At This Time
Many charitable organizations such as American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Goodwill, the SPCA of Texas, and others have indicated that financial donations are needed to help areas affected by flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Financial donations will provide the long term help Texans will need as they work to recover and rebuild their communities. Extended assistance will be necessary.

The Greater Houston Community Foundation - Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund
We have turned to the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, for guidance on ways in which our community can help. Mayor Turner has established a Harvey relief fund at The Greater Houston Community Foundation.

To learn more about the Foundation, please visit www.ghcf.org. To donate directly, visit www.ghcf.org/hurricane-relief/. We suggest that Chino Hills residents review the information on the Greater Houston Community Foundation website and make a donation to the charity of their choice.
