Chino Hills Communtity Foundation Scholarship Programs
Summer Day Camp Scholarship applications are no longer being accepted due to funding availability.

Summer Youth Scholarships will be accepted through March 29, 2019 or until funding is depleted.  Limited scholarships are available.

The Chino Hills Community Foundation funds the Scholarship Programs to assist Chino Hills families who are experiencing financial hardships. A limited number of scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Recipients are able to participate in Chino Hills Recreation classes, special events, and programs.

Youth Scholarships

Scholarship benefits are a maximum of 2 classes per child with a maximum of $500 per family. One application per household may be submitted. Must be 17 years old and under to receive funding and be a Chino Hills resident.

Summer Day Camp Scholarship

The Chino Hills Summer Day Camp is a 9 week program designed to involve children from ages 6-12 in a safe, fun, active, and educational environment. It is geared toward creativity in arts and crafts, sports, games, indoor activities, and the opportunity to make new friends. Summer Day Camp will be offered at Grand Avenue Park Community Building, 1301 Grand Avenue, and Mystic Canyon Park Community Building, 6424 Mystic Canyon Drive.

Scholarship benefits are the total cost of the 9 week program. The estimated cost is $1,188. The program is limited to qualifying children 6 to 12 years old.

Eligibility Requirements
  1. Gross annual household income may not exceed the thresholds per HUD income requirements.
  2. Copy of a birth certificate is required for each dependent.
  3. Proof of residency required.
