FY 2017-18 Street Improvement Project
Project Description:
The FY 17-18 Annual Slurry / Street Improvement project consists of pavement repair using selective patch and slurry seal treatment for the public residential streets within the areas and locations identified below.
               
Location:      
Areas of work include residential public streets within the following development of:

 

  1. Rancho Hills Area – Residential public streets bounded by Tanglewood  Lane to the west, Nordic Avenue to the south, Chino Hills Parkway to the east, and Rancho Hills Drive to the north; and
  2. East Windmill Creek Area – Residential public streets bounded by Chino Hills Parkway to the west, Sweet Water Court to the south, Terrace Hill to the east, and Windmill Creek Road to the north; and
  3. Warmington Homes Area – Inner residential public streets bounded by Auburn Court to the west, Pleasant Hill Drive to the south, Golden Crest Drive to the east, and Grand Avenue to the north; and  
  4. Founders Village Area – Inner residential public streets bounded by Deer Haven Drive to the west, Sun Ridge Drive to the south, Chino Hills Parkway to the east, and Founders Drive to the north; and
  5. Walnut Creek Area – Residential public streets bounded by Valley View Lane to the west, Walnut Creek Drive to the south, Chino Hills Parkway to the east, and Falling Star Lane to the north    
  6. Lower Los Serranos Residential public streets:

               a)   Los Serranos Boulevard between Pipeline Avenue and Bird Farm Road; and                
               b)   Yorba Avenue between Bird Farm Road and Fairway Boulevard; and             

   7.  Garden Court
       
               a)   Garden Court between Cork Drive and End (cul-de-sac); and        
               b)   Garden Court between Lobelia Drive and End (cul-de-sac)                     

          Additive Area  (Please see project work area map for more details):
   
8.  Buckingham Area – Residential public streets bounded by Peyton Drive to the west, Chino Hills
         Parkway to the south, Pipeline Avenue to the east, and Southern California Edison utility
         easement to the north.
  

Current Construction Activities: 
Bids were opened on March 22, 2018, and the award of project is scheduled for April 24, 2018. Construction is anticipated to start in late May 2018.
           

Construction Timeframe:
45 working days + additional 15 working days if Additive Area is awarded.
