The Chino Hills Police Department has scheduled a Town Hall Meeting on Police and Community Relations to be held on Tuesday, July 21 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive. This meeting was planned to provide an opportunity for the Chino Hills Police Department to make a presentation on public safety, department policy, training, and police/community relations. Attendees will hear from members of the Chino Hills Police Department, the San Bernardino County (S.B. Co.) Sheriff’s Training Division, and S.B. Co. Behavioral Health Department, as they share information regarding policing and practices that are in place when Deputies respond to calls for service. Speakers will provide a broad overview and information specific to Chino Hills. Topics include training, mental health awareness, statistical data comparing demographics of the community and police personnel, and lethal force encounters in comparison to other stations in the County.
