  1. Chino Valley Fire District - Sharps Collection

    March 28, 2020, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Chino Valley Fire District Training Center

    The Chino Valley Fire District is hosting a free sharps waste collection on Saturday, March 28 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at their Training Center in Chino, 5092 Schaefer Avenue. All sharps shall be in an approved sharps container. Unauthorized containers will not be accepted. New sharps containers can be pocked up at the same time. Container replacement is subject to availability. The sharps collections is open to residents of the Chino Valley. Proof of residency is required.

  2. CANCELLED - Chino Hills Community Foundation: Kids Art Expo

    The Arts Committee of the Chino Hills Community Foundation, known as chARTS, is hosting a Kids Art Exploration Day that will allow kids to explore a variety of art mediums, including paint, collage, and crafts. Local artists will provide demonstrations of their various forms of art.

  3. Blood Drive

    March 28, 2020, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Government Center parking lot

    Blood is in short supply so the City of Chino Hills has scheduled a week long Blood Drive, Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Government Center parking lot located at 14077 Peyton Drive. Donors are strongly encouraged to show up in force to help save lives as California continues to navigate the coronavirus pandemic. All donors will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card. Donors must be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Parental consent forms are available at and are required for blood donors ages 15 - 17. Blood donors should drink plenty of decaffeinated liquids prior to donating blood and must present a valid photo identification. Medical personnel will check your temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and iron level. If you meet eligibility requirements, about one pint of blood will be collected. Call (800) 879-4484 to reserve a time. Walk-ins are welcome.
