Public Works Week Open House2019-05-14T14:00:00Bring the kids to the Public Works Week Open House! Lots of interactive displays! The Public Works Department has operational and maintenance responsibility for water and sewer service, streets, parks, medians, slopes, open space, trees, graffiti removal, facilities, street sweeping, and storm drains. Public Works professionals will be on hand to answer residents’ questions!
Kids will enjoy sitting in the driver’s seat of a tractor or the hydro-excavator. A 30’ personnel lift, an aerial boom truck, and the Sanitation Division’s camera truck that inspects sewer pipes will be on site. Several large pieces of equipment will be on display to highlight a few of the many tools that are needed to keep the water flowing, the toilets flushing, the traffic moving, and the parks ready for enjoyment. Free refreshments and giveaways including tomato and cucumber plants, kid-friendly tattoos, and more (while supplies last). Please call (909) 364-2800 for additional information.
