  1. Healthy Hills Walking Club

    January 19, 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM @ Community Park

    Healthy Hills is introducing a Walking Club which will host a series of four quarterly walking meet-ups to promote a more active and healthier community. Each walk will be a loop that goes through a different neighborhood each time and will be led by City Staff. This program is free and welcome to all ages. The first of four meet-ups will be a 2.39 mile walk that is set to take place on Saturday, January 12th, at 7:30 a.m. at Chino Hills Community Park, 3280 Eucalyptus Avenue. As part of the mission to create healthier lifestyles, residents are encouraged reach a goal of 1 million steps this year and this quarterly walking club can help everyone achieve that goal as a community. Future meet-ups will take place on April 13th, July 13th, and October 12th. The location, time, and distance of each meet-up will be publicized prior to each event.

  3. Health and Wellness Fair

    January 26, All Day @ Chino Hills Community Center

    The City Chino Hills’ Healthy Hills initiative is hosting the annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, January 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive. The event is free and offers something for all ages. Local businesses and vendors who offer resources, programs, or partnerships that promote a healthy lifestyle will provide information to attendees. A variety of activities, demonstrations, and vendor booths will be stationed both inside and outside of the building. The City’s Mobile Recreation van will be on site with free games and activities for children. Instructors from the City’s Recreation programs will demonstrate how residents can have fun and be active by participating in local classes. Free health screenings include: blood pressure check, Body Mass Index testing, overall health screening, and a spinal check. Seniors can receive a Bone Density screening.
