Blood Drive2021-01-19T12:00:00LifeStream is following all protocols including social distancing, sanitation, and cleaning. Their staff are using personal protective equipment and all donors are required to wear face coverings. Donors must be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Parental consent forms are available at www.lstream.org and are required for blood donors ages 15 and 16. Blood donors should drink plenty of decaffeinated liquids prior to donating blood and must present a valid photo identification. Medical personnel will check your temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and iron level. If you meet eligibility requirements, about one pint of blood will be collected. Walk-ins are welcome. COVID-19 Testing at McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center2021-01-23T09:00:00Tests will be conducted inside the barn at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center, 14280 Peyton Drive. Face coverings are required. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years old. COVID-19 testing is encouraged for everyone. No symptoms are required to get a COVID19 test. Appointments are strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. The County of San Bernardino will activate appointment registration for testing events approximately five to seven days before the event date. Visit www.sbcovid19.com and select “County Testing Sites” to make an appointment or call (909) 387-3911. Additional COVID-19 testing locations are available on the website. Participants will be asked for health insurance information when registering but will never receive a bill. Participants will not be charged a co-pay nor share the cost for the test. Persons who do not have insurance or do not want to provide insurance will still be registered and tested.
