    April 3, 2020, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Chino Hills Community Park

    Over 7,000 eggs will be filled with candy but some will be filled with coupons designated to pre-selected prizes. Over $3,000 worth of prizes will be available. As if it wasn’t hard enough, be sure to bring your flashlight as we will be turning off the lights at the start of the hunt! Tickets are limited to 300 participants, so be sure to register early!

    The City of Chino Hills and Republic Services have scheduled a mulch giveaway event for Chino Hills residents on Saturday, April 4 starting at 7:30 a.m. (while supplies last) at The Shoppes at Chino Hills overflow parking lot on Shoppes Drive near Boys Republic Drive. Three products are available: wood chips, mulch, and compost. Wood chips and mulch can be placed around trees and planting beds to retain moisture. Compost adds nutrients when mixed with soil. Be prepared to confirm your Chino Hills address. Bring your own shovel and container or bags (no Republic Services containers allowed). Loading directly into a vehicle, trailer, hitch box, etc. will not be permitted. Due to the popularity of the program, each participant is limited to 60 gallons of mulch. No outside baskets or bags will be allowed. The City will provide bags for egg hunts.

  8. Blood Drive

    April 21, 2020, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Government Center Parking Lot

    The City of Chino Hills will host a Blood Drive from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Government Center parking lot, located at 14077 Peyton Drive. Blood donors must show valid photo identification, be at least 15 years old, weigh 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Minors (ages 15-17) must provide a completed parental consent form, available at www.lstream.org. If volunteers meet eligibility requirements, about one pint of blood will be collected. Blood donors should drink plenty of decaffeinated liquids prior to donating. Medical personnel will check donor’s temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and iron level.
