The Work comprises, but is not limited to, Mobilization; Traffic Control; removal and reconstruction of deteriorated pavement, grind and overlay asphalt pavement; reconstruction of access ramps; reconstruction of curb and gutter; reconstruction of sidewalk; reconstruction of AC berm adjustment of water valves, sewer manholes and utility covers; installation of video detection; and restoration of striping, pavement markings, curb paintings, and legends.

Complete sets of the Contract Documents may be purchased beginning Monday, March 13, 2023, upon payment of twenty dollars ($35.00) per set and are obtainable from the Engineering Division, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, California 91709. (Note: The $35.00 fee will be waived for the previous bidders and plan holders.) No refund will be made of any charges for sets of Contract Documents. (**Note to Bidders: Prospective bidders must be listed in the City of Chino Hills Engineering Division's project Plans Holders List to ensure receipt of issued addendum, if any, prior to submitting bid.) The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A or C12 Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (***See link under Description).
