The work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization, traffic control, providing construction phasing schedule, residential notifications, potholing, sawcutting and removal of pavement, sheeting/shoring, exposing the existing PVC water main, lateral and saddle, replacing saddles and corporation stops, reconnecting existing water service laterals, trench restoration; and street improvements which includes: 5-ft Tapered Grind and AC overlay, crack seal, application of Type I conventional slurry seal, adjust existing utility manholes and water valve can to final grade, restoration of speed hump, and restoration of striping, pavement markings, and legends.
 
 *Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: Prospective bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting which will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chino Hills City Hall, Council Chambers, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709. Failure to participate in the pre-bid meeting will render a bidder non-responsive.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A or Class C34 Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (***See link under Description).
