Scope of Work:

The City is seeking proposals for development and preparation of a Local Roadway Safety Plan, LRSP.  Purpose for the plan is to provide a means to address unique transportation and roadway element requirements while providing a framework to systematically identify and analyze safety problems and recommend safety improvements that can be tailored to the City’s local protocols, needs and issues.  The LRSP is intended to serve as a living document, which can be updated to reflect changing needs and priorities in the City while aligning itself with the California State SHSP, federal programs – including Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), and other safety program applications along with funding eligibility. Intent being the reduction in fatalities and serious injuries on public roads.

The submittal package shall include: in a sealed envelope: three (3) copies of the proposal; consultants fee schedule, reimbursable and overhead costs shall accompany the proposal, but must be in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked "Cost Proposal for: Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP)". Only one (1) copy of the fee proposal is required.
Proposer must be willing to enter into an agreement with the City of Chino Hills. A copy of the agreement accompanies the full RFP. Please review this agreement and provide the City with a written statement of your firm's willingness to accept the terms of the agreement. Please specifically identify each and every term of the agreement which your firm is unwilling to accept and the reason therefore.
