Ongoing construction work will occur on Peyton Drive and Grand Avenue intermittently over the next few weeks between the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM as part of an encroachment permit obtained by MCI Communications to install fiber optic cable. Working hours have been limited to 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for work areas impacting nearby school traffic. On Peyton Drive, the far right southbound lane, bicycle lane, and sidewalk will be closed from Chino Avenue to Grand Avenue. On Grand Avenue, the far right westbound lane, bicycle lane, and sidewalk will be closed from Peyton Drive to Madrugada Drive. Through traffic will remain at all times, however, please expect delays due to reduced lanes of travel. There may also be times when work will take place in the crosswalks at the intersection of Peyton Drive and Grand Avenue.
