The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department offers Lady Be Aware self-defense courses which are open to Chino Hills residents. The safety course is specially designed for women who want to develop the necessary attitude, skills, and knowledge to help prevent them from becoming a victim.
Lady Be Aware courses are held on various dates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Sheriff’s Department Training Center in Devore. The first portion of the training is held in a classroom setting and covers basic ways to prevent you from being a victim. The second portion covers weaponless defensive tactics and an introduction to shooting.

- October 28
