The City of Chino Hills Commission meeting start times for the Planning, Public Works, and Parks and Recreation Commissions will change to begin at 6:00 pm effective Friday, September 8, 2023. This change aligns the Commission meeting start times with the new City Council Meeting start time of 6:00 pm to be more consistent for the public. The change in start time will be reflected with each Commission’s respective meeting following the September 8 date.
In May 2023, the Chino Hills City Council voted to move the regular City Council meeting start time to 6:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm to become more consistent with other neighboring elected bodies such as the Chino Valley Fire District, Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education, and the City of Chino. The City Council’s goal of establishing an earlier meeting start time is to maintain open and transparent government by making meetings more convenient for the public to attend and participate in the City’s business items through the meeting’s conclusion.
