Celebrate the holiday season at the City’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 4 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Government Center located at 14000 City Center Drive. The official City of Chino Hills tree will be located outdoors in the breezeway between City Hall and the Library. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will start at 6:15 pm with the presentation of the colors by the Chino Valley Young Marines. Once the tree is lit, it will begin to snow and Santa will arrive.

The free event includes holiday music, arts and crafts projects, games, and a special visit from Santa! Enjoy light refreshments including cookies, holiday treats, and free hot cocoa while supplies last. Craft vendors will offer handmade holiday-themed items for sale. Attendees are encouraged to visit the City’s 30th Anniversary booth for special giveaways and photo opportunities in front of a one-of-a-kind backdrop that highlights many of the City’s major milestones since incorporation on December 1, 1991.

Santa will visit with the children until 8:00 pm in the Library community room. Children may bring their “Letters to Santa” to place them in the special mailbox at City Hall for direct delivery to Santa in the North Pole. For questions or more information, please visit or call the Recreation Office at (909) 364-2700.
