December 1, 2021, marks the 30th Anniversary of Incorporation as a City. Chino Hills has come a long way since its incorporation on December 1, 1991. From what used to be home to a few ranchers and homesteaders, is now one of the most special and desired places to live in Southern California. Over the last three decades, City Council and City Officials have worked hard to continue the strong vision of our founding leaders and ensure the City’s continued success. Cityhood and Council’s prudent, long-range policy decisions and sound fiscal management has resulted in a strong financial foundation, healthy General Fund Unrestricted Reserve, and millions of dollars remaining in our community. These funds have enabled the City to provide our residents with new facilities, programs, and services. Residents can enjoy 44 parks, five community facilities, 48 miles of trails, and over 3,000 acres of community-owned open space.
