San Bernardino County Enters the Orange Tier as of Wednesday, April 7

San Bernardino County officials are reporting welcome news! As of Wednesday, April 7, San Bernardino County has moved into the Orange Tier of the State's Blueprint for a Safer Economy. As a result, a number of local businesses and activities in the County are allowed to expand capacity or resume operations. Here's what has changed:

  • Restaurants - 50% capacity indoors or 200 people, whichever is less
  • Indoor gyms - 25% capacity
  • Libraries - 100% capacity
  • Movie theaters - 50% capacity or 200 people, whichever is less
  • Retail - 100% capacity
  • Museums, zoos, and aquariums - 50% capacity indoors
  • Family entertainment centers including bowling alleys, escape rooms, can reopen at 25% capacity
  • Bars can reopen outdoors with modifications, no food sales required

Beginning Saturday, April 10, the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library will resume regular hours of operation. For more information, visit www.sbcounty.gov/Library.

Residents who have not yet received a vaccination against COVID-19 and wish to do so are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.sbcovid19.com/Vaccine or call the County's COVID-19 hotline at (909) 387-3911 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm.
