The City of Chino Hills has resumed limited passport acceptance services by appointment only. Passport processing was suspended in mid-March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Appointments will be available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 am to noon on Friday. Visit www.chinohills.org/Passports now to make an appointment. Walk-in services will not be available. Passport services are provided in the City Clerk’s Office on the second floor at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive. Customers should be ready with a completed application and the necessary documentation at their scheduled appointment time or they may be required to reschedule the appointment. According to the U.S. Department of State, Expedited Service is not available at this time. Please visit www.travel.state.gov for more details. The passport application fee must be paid by check or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State. Customers may pay passport execution and photos fees with a credit or debit card. A 2.5% convenience fee will be charged for credit/debit card transactions. To avoid the charge, customers may pay by check or money order.
