James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library Reopens to the Public June 23

Library Open - Newsflash

As of June 23, the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library is open to the public with modified business hours:

  • Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm  

The library will operate with these modified hours until further notice. The San Bernardino County Library ensures the health and safety of customers and staff members alike in preparation for reopening. They have acquired and distributed the necessary personal protective equipment (face masks, sanitizing wipes/spray, gloves, hand sanitizer) for use by staff and the public. Sneeze guards and redirected lines with floor decals have been installed at each of the service points to ensure proper social distancing while customers wait to be served. In addition, as customer enter the library, they will observe several changes including relocated furniture and appropriately spaced public PC’s to aid in social distancing.

The following services will be available upon opening:

  • Browse and checkout of library material    
  • One hour visit limit
  • One hour per day of public PC use
  • Public Printing
  • “On the go” program kits
  • Online Summer Reading Program – incentives available in branch
  • Payment of fines and fees
