City of Chino Hills Summer Day Camp Priority Registration Opens April 1-12

Priority registration for the City of Chino Hills Summer Day Camp is from April 1-12 for Chino Hills residents who are registering for all nine weeks of the program. Open registration begins on May 8. Camp is offered Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm at two locations: Grand Avenue Park, 1301 Grand Avenue; and Mystic Canyon Park, 6424 Mystic Canyon Drive.

The program is designed to involve children, ages 6-12, in a safe, fun, active, and educational environment during summer break. It offers arts and crafts, sports, games, indoor activities, weekly field trips, and the opportunity to make new friends. Children are supervised by trained, experienced, caring, and responsible camp leaders, with a daily child-to-leader ratio of 10 to one and a field trip ratio of six to one. Day Camp fees run $145 per camper per week for residents and $155 per camper per week for non-residents. The week of July 1 will be pro-rated due to the 4th of July holiday. Fees include the weekly field trip. A payment plan will be available for those individuals attending all nine weeks of camp.

All campers must bring their own lunch, drinks, and snacks daily. Children may not be picked up or dropped off at field trip locations by parents or guardians at any time.
Register at the Recreation Office at Chino Hills City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive; or the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive. Day Camp registration will not be accepted on May 4 during the Community Services Open House.  For additional information, please call (909) 364-2700.
