The Community Services Department would like to keep our community active and supported in the wake of the disappointing cancellations and temporary recreation facility closures. Here you will find creative ways to learn, stay fit, be artistic, and explore our all the beauty our city has to offer. We hope these resources make it a little easier to stay connected. Be sure to enter into all of our Halloween contests! Going on through October 31.
Coloring is not just for the little ones anymore! Using one of our three templates, create a colorful, stylish, and creative piece of art. When working on your masterpiece, don’t be afraid to step out of bounds and add some additional artwork to complete your piece! Recreation staff will vote on their favorites and select three winner from each category to receive a swag bag and a gift card. Winners will be announced on October 28.

Interested in some fun Art, STEM and craft projects you can do at home with your kids? Our Mobile Rec program is back.. with a twist. Weekly Rec-to-Go packages will consist of directions and supplies for 6 projects, worksheets and games for kids ages 6-12.
It’s finally here! Our first Fitness Friday! This week, we are focusing on how to fix your posture. Especially in an office setting, we tend to hunch over when sitting. When we do this, the mid-back tends to lose some of its ability to extend upright and it is shown when we are walking or standing upright. So what’s the solution?
