Bulky Item Drop-Off Event(s)
In appreciation of the community's efforts to recycle, the City of Chino Hills and WM (Waste Management) will host bi-annual Community Cleanup - Bulky Item Drop Off events in the City. Residents are invited to attend this event by bringing unwanted bulky items to be properly disposed and recycled.
Proof of residency is required. Please bring a photo ID or a Chino Hills utility bill the event. Vehicles are limited to cars, pickup trucks, station wagons, vans, and SUVs (company vehicles and trailers will be turned away). Residents with trailers and/or enclosed storage trucks can pick up a voucher for free disposal at the transfer station in Pomona at the cleanup event.

The Shoppes at Chino Hills Overflow parking lot (on Shoppes Drive near Boys Republic Drive) - The entrance will only be accessible by making a right hand turn on City Center Drive between City Hall and the Fire District building. See Map for directions.

Can't Attend the Event?
WM (Waste Management) provides 3 free bulky item pickups per calendar year to residents for household items like couches, stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, and electronic waste that are too large to put in the regular trash bin. For a full list of acceptable bulky items, please visit home.wm.com/chino-hills. Additional bulky item pickups are available at a nominal cost.

Have any Household Hazardous Waste to Dispose of?
The closest location that residents can dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW) is at the City of Chino HHW site. The City of Chino HHW is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The HHW is located at 5050 Schaefer Ave, Chino, CA 91710.
