Park Information
With that surge in skateboarding popularity comes an unprecedented push for places to pop ollies, grind rails, and practice kick-flips.
One of the places to practice such tricks is at one of the Inland Empire's most popular and exciting skate parks!
This modern, free skate park is open everyday from 7:00 am until dusk for skaters of all ages.
Chino Hills Skate Park Renovation Project
The City of Chino Hills is excited to announce a project to renovate the existing 20-year-old Chino Hills Skate Park. The project scope will potentially include adding lighting, shade structures, seating, repairing existing areas, and updating the skate area to increase its functionality. The City has retained Newline Skateparks, a global leading full-service planning, design, and construction firm specializing in the development of concrete skate parks, to conduct community workshops and collect feedback that will drive the improved design to best meet the needs of the community.
Community Workshop #1
The City hosted its first Community Workshop on November 15, 2023. The goal of the workshop was to gather community input on the existing skate park and gain insight into creating a space that caters to both beginners and experienced skateboarders. Information was also gathered on potential future expansion options for the undeveloped north end of the park.
Online Survey - Currently Open until November 29
The City is seeking additional input from those unable to attend the first Community Workshop.
Your voice matters! Join us in shaping the future of the Chino Hills Skate Park. Take the online survey to be a part of the transformation and let the City know what features are important to you as we undergo a Skate Park Renovation Project. Share your thoughts by Wednesday, November 29, and help create the ultimate skate haven! Four entries will be randomly selected to win a $25 gift card to Active Ride Shop.
Community Workshop #2 - Early 2024
The City plans to return for a second workshop in early 2024 to present all findings and community input.
