Project Overview

The Rincon is an approved project to develop a 201,304-square foot freeway commercial center. The project consist of the following:

  • 60,000 sq. ft., 4-story, 116-room Hotel (Marriott Towneplace Suites) – Constructed
  • 70,000 sq. ft., 4-story, 119-room Hotel (Holiday Inn Express) – Construction plans submitted
  • 9,786 sq. ft. Daycare (Kiddie Academy) – Constructed
  • 30,000 sq. ft., 3-story medical office building – Under construction
  • 6,500 sq. ft., single story medical office building (Spectrum MRI) – Under construction
  • 20,000 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant (4 total buildings) – 2 buildings constructed, 1 under construction

Project Status

Amendment to project entitlement was approved by City Council on March 26, 2019. Pad 2 (micro-brewery) and Pad 3 (medical office) are near completion, and Pad 4 (medical office) is currently under construction. Pad 1 (Wendy’s) is anticipated to start construction before the end of the year. Holiday Inn Express is anticipated to start construction in early 2020 with project completion in 2021.
