The Kiwanis Club of Chino Hills invites the community to the Chino Hills Boat Parade on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. Crowds arrive early to park and will gather on the parade route, which starts on Peyton Drive at Eucalyptus Avenue.
Decorated boats and other entries will travel north along Peyton Drive, then east along Boys Republic Drive, to continue the tradition started by residents in 1991. The Kiwanis Club is seeking additional involvement from non-boat entries such as bands, equestrians, and others who may want to participate.
The Registration Packet includes an Application, Waiver Announcer Script information, a Participation Agreement, and current insurance card for the tow vehicle. Completed paperwork can be scanned and emailed to email@example.com or submitted in person at the City Hall Recreation Office, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709.
A mandatory Driver's Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709.
The Kiwanis Club is accepting $60 donations for participants and $300 donations for business sponsorship/advertising. Donation checks should be made payable to Chino Hills Kiwanis Club and mailed to The Kiwanis Club, P.O. Box 2236, Chino Hills, CA 91709. Donations help cover parade costs.
An After Party and Awards Ceremony will be held at Chino Valley Community Church, 14601 Peyton Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709 immediately following the conclusion of the Boat Parade. Live music, baked goods, warm drinks, games, movies, and pictures with Santa will be available.
