About the Municipal Code
The Chino Hills Municipal Code represents the most current regulations adopted by the City.The document is a compilation of ordinances of the City.Following adoption by the City Council, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Municipal Code. Codification is completed quarterly.

Ordinance No. 263- An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California Amending the Chino Hills Municipal Code, Title 12, Chapter 12.36 Special Events for Business Expositions and Food Truck Events; Title 16, Chapter 16.10 Residential Districts for Impervious Surface Coverage Within the Front Yard Setback; Chapter 16.34 Parking and Loading to Require Parking Lot Lighting And Concrete Stepouts; and Chapter 16.72 Minor Variances for Increases in Impervious Surface Coverage Within the Front Yard and Increases in Maximum Wall Height.

Ordinance No. 264- An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California, Amending Chapter 3.20 of the Chino Hills Municipal Code to Increase the Informal Bid Limits for Public Contracts Awarded Pursuant to Chapter 3.20 and Authorize the City Manager to Award Such Contracts in an Amount Not to Exceed $125,000.

Ordinance No. 266-  Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California, Repealing Chapter 15.04 of Title 15 of the City of Chino Hills Municipal Code and Establishing a New Chapter 15.4 of Title 15 Adopting by Reference and Amending the 2013 Editions of the California Building Code Volumes 1 & 2, California Plumbing Code, California Mechanical Code, California Electrical Code, California Residential Code, California Energy Code, and California Green Building Standards Code with Appendices and Amendments Thereto.  (Ordinance introduced and public hearing scheduled at the November 26, 2013 City Council Meeting)

Ordinance No. 267- An Ordinance of the City Council of the City Of Chino Hills Approving Zone Change No. 13ZC03 to Amend the Preliminary Development Plan and Final Development Plan of the Gordon Ranch Planned Development (PD 24-145) Changing the Designation of 1,346 Square Feet of Lot Z of Tract 13915-8 from Open Space to Single Family Residential, Notwithstanding any Contrary Provision in the Gordon Ranch Planned Development Preliminary and Final Development Plans. Ordinance No. 273-An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California Amending the Chino Hills Municipal Code, Title 16, Chapter 16.02 General Provisions and Definitions to Define Target Population; Chapter 16.06 General Development Standards for Properties Impacted by Public Use; and Appendix “A” Regulation of Uses by Zoning District for Supportive Housing and Transitional Housing Uses and Finding Proposed Municipal Code Amendment No. 14MCA01 Exempt From Review Under the California Environmental Quality Act.

Ordinance No. 274- An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California, Amending Chapter 16.33 Equestrian and Large Animal Overly District, Figure 1, Equestrian and Large Animal Overly District Map to Change the Designation of 2211 Carbon Canyon Road (The Douglas Sparkes Property) From Level 2 to Level 1 and Finding that Pursuant to Section 15162 and Section 15164 of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines the Proposed Amendment will not Result in New Significant Environmental Effects or a Substantial Increase in the Severity of Previously Identified Significant Effects Identified in the Mitigated Negative Declaration Adopted on March 25, 2014. Ordinance No. 275 - An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California Amending the Chino Hills Municipal Code, Title 5 to add chapter 5.28 Medical Marijuana Cultivation and Distribution to Clarify that Medical Marijuana Collectives and Cultivation are Prohibited in all Zones; Title 16, Chapter 16.02 General Provisions and Definitions to Expressly Prohibit all Uses in Violation of Federal, State, or Local Law and Define Marijuana, Medical Marijuana Collective, and Medical Marijuana Cultivation; and Appendix "A" Regulation of Uses by Zoning District to Clarify that Medical Marijuana Collectives and Cultivation are Prohibited in all Zones and Finding Proposed Municipal Code Amendment No. 14MCA02 Exempt from Review Under the California Environmental Quality Act.

Ordinance No. 276 - An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Chino Hills, California Amending the Chino Hills Municipal Code, Title 12, Chapter 12.36 Special Events for Christmas Tree Lots and Appendix "D", Chapter 7 Sign Regulations for Banners and Flags and Finding Proposed Municipal Code Amendment No. 14MCA03 Exempt from Review Under the California Environmental Quality Act.

Ordinance No. 277 - An Ordinance of the City of Chino Hills, California, Amending Ordinance Nos. 109, 111, and 128 as Incorporated in Chino Hills Municipal Code Sections 3.40.010 Definitions, 3.40.040 Water Facilities Fee, 3.40.050 Sewer Facilities Fee, 3.40.100 Amount of the Fees for Water Facilities Fees, Sewer Facilities Fees, Traffic Facilities Fees, and Storm Drain Facilities for New Development, Section 3.40.110 Sewer Fee Ratios and Section 3.40.120 Fee Adjustment Pursuant to and in Accordance with Government Code Section 66000 ET SEQ, and Determining this Project is Exempt From Review Under the California Environmental Quality Act.
