Requirements for Gazebo Reservations

  • All reservations can be made on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be made at Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive or at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive.
  • All other City parks with picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservation required.
  • Chino Hills residents can make reservations up to 90 days in advance.  Should the 90th day fall on a weekend, reservations can be made the Monday after the weekend at 7:30 a.m.
  •  Chino Hills residents may reserve a gazebo for one 3-hour block of time within a 72-hour period. Chino Hills residents receive their first three hours for free, and are subject to a $25 per hour fee for additional hour(s) of time.
  • Non-residents can make a reservation up to 30 days in advance.
  • Non-residents may reserve a gazebo for one 3-hour block of time for $75 and are subject to a $30 per hour fee for additional hour(s) of time. These fees are non-refundable fee at the time of gazebo reservation.
  • Holiday reservations are accepted.

Reservation Times

  • 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
  • 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  (May 1 – September 30 only)         
  • Time segments cannot be changed unless applicant pays a $25 (Residents) or $30 (Non-residents) per hour non-refundable fee for outside time outside posted blocks of time.

Park Use Rules

  • Gazebo will be considered reserved after a group has received this approved application and fees (if applicable) have been paid. 
  • Groups shall be responsible to leave the park/gazebo in a clean and orderly condition. 
  • City will not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to equipment or articles.
  • Repeat reservations of any given group will be contingent upon care of property and observance of rules and general policies, and availability of the facility.
  • No intoxicants of any type are permitted in any City of Chino Hills park. 
  • No inflatable bouncer type equipment is permitted in any City of Chino Hills park.
  • No Petting Zoos or Pony Rides of any type are permitted in any City of Chino Hills park.
  • When applicable, an organization must submit proof of comprehensive personal liability and a property damage insurance policy in an amount required by the City.  The City, its officers, officials, employees and volunteers are to be additional insureds.  This policy must be submitted to the City before final approval will be given. 
  • There shall be no soliciting or sale of merchandise or service in any City of Chino Hills park except under permit granted by the City of Chino Hills. 
  • Dogs and/or cats must be kept on a leash and owner must clean-up after them.
