Household Hazardous, Electronic & Universal Waste
The items listed below are considered Household Hazardous, Electronic (E-waste) or Universal Waste and CANNOT be disposed of in your trash, recycle or green waste bins.San Bernardino County residents can take their Household Hazardous Waste to the San Bernardino County HHW Collection Center from 8 am to 1 pm on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.The Collection Center is located at the Chino City Public Works Center, 5050 Schaefer Avenue in Chino.For more information call (909) 382-5401 or visit the San Bernardino County website.

E-waste is a popular term for electronic products nearing the end of their useful life. Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products. Electronic discards are one of the fastest growing segments of our nation’s waste stream.Under current regulation, these devices require special handling and can no longer be disposed of in landfills. 

Home Pick-up Services for Residential E-Waste and Used Motor Oil
Chino Hills residential customers can now conveniently dispose of their small electronic devices such as cell phones, old televisions and computers by simply calling Chino Hills Disposal toll free at (866) 238-2444 to schedule a special pick-up.A similar program is available for used motor oil.Simply call City Hall at (909) 364-2633 to pick up a special used motor oil container, then call Chino Hills Disposal to arrange for pick up.Other Household Hazardous Waste must be taken to a collection center.
