Graffiti Removal
Graffiti is an unsightly nuisance and the City of Chino Hills is committed to removing it as quickly as possible. The City maintains a recorded phone line for graffiti removal requests. Residents can help eliminate this blight by reporting graffiti to the City.

Report Vandalism & Graffiti In Progress
The cost of repairing the damage and painting over the graffiti is significant! If you see graffiti or vandalism in progress, please report it immediately to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center at (909) 465-6837. Please be prepared to offer a description of the vandals.

Graffiti Abatement Program
The graffiti problem is region wide and the City is taking action to address this ongoing issue. The City’s Graffiti Abatement Program includes the following key elements: 
  • Graffiti Task Force – The City participates in the West Valley Graffiti Task Force
    • A consortium of local cities and law enforcement agencies
    • Regularly meets to address the ongoing issue of graffiti in our community
  • Data Tracking – a computerized tracking system to collect graffiti
    • Data includes: locations, costs, and photos
    • Data is used to prosecute vandals when they are apprehended
  • Camera Monitoring – A pilot program that placed cameras in areas where there is a high incidence of graffiti
    • Cameras are motion activated; tells the offender to leave the area
    • Evidence gathered from these cameras is used to prosecute offenders
  • Volunteer Program – Residents can volunteer their time to remove graffiti throughout the City

    • Volunteers meet the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm at the City Yard (located at 15091 La Palma Dr., Chino, 91710)
