About CDBG Program
The purpose of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is to promote the development of a viable urban community by providing for decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for low and moderate-income persons. The CDBG program does this through identifying and implementing eligible activities.

Eligible activities that qualify under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development include:



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Chino Hills is accepting applications for the 2013-2014 CDBG program.  Any nonprofit public service organization, including faith-based organizations, meeting the federal guidelines, can submit a project funding application.  All proposed projects/programs must meet one of HUD's national objectives and an identified priority in Chino Hills' 2008-2013 Consolidated Plan.  Applications will be accepted by the City of Chino Hills Community Services Department, located at 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA, 91709 on or before 4:30 pm Friday, January 4, 2013. Emailed or faxed applications will not be accepted.

Community Needs and Assets Survey
The City of Chino Hills is preparing a new Consolidated Plan for future use of federal funds from the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  An important part of this plan is to obtain information from community residents to determine the needs and assets of the community.  Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey to help the City prioritize use of future funding.  All responses are confidential.  Please fax the completed survey to (909) 364-2717 or mail to Community Services Department - Administration, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills CA. 91709.
