Standing With San Bernardino
The Kiwanis Club of Chino Hills will be dedicating this year’s annual Chino Hills Boat Parade in memory of our sisters and brothers who were killed in the tragedy in San Bernardino.

“The parade is our City’s oldest tradition and a true celebration of our love for this place we call home,” shares Bill Taylor, Parade Coordinator for the past eight years. “But this year, we also pray for healing. Our hearts are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives on December 2nd.”
There will be several banners on the parade route that parade goers are invited to sign in solidarity with the fallen. Preliminary plans call for the banners to be located near Bulldog Way; and between Ayala High School and Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Several student clubs from the local high schools will be selling hot chocolate and other goodies in the Ayala High School parking lot and helping with the banner effort. Explorer Post 503 will be selling coffee, hot chocolate and refreshments in the Library parking lot.

Print a sign for your boat that displays you are standing strong with San Bernardino. Both a JPG picture and PDF is provided for easy printing.

Join The After Party
Immediately following the parade there will be a free after-party hosted by Chino Valley Community Church, 14601 Peyton Drive, near the parade start/end point.  The after-party will feature dozens of boats from the parade, and the public is invited to enjoy Christmas Carolers strolling the grounds and partake in complimentary baked goodies and beverages. There will also be activities for the kids, pictures with the Parade Santa, an awards presentation, and a moment of prayer and silence for the victims in San Bernardino.
