Motorists are advised that several projects are underway on Eucalyptus Avenue from Peyton Drive west to the entrance to Chino Hills Community Park. The work is expected to continue through the end of March. The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) is preparing to connect a recycled water pipeline to the new recycled water reservoir above Community Park. Southern California Edison (SCE) is also working in the area to underground distribution lines from Peyton Drive to the Community Park entrance. Both projects will have periodic impacts on traffic flow, which will include periods of flagman-controlled traffic. The City’s Engineering Department has required both projects to wait for the morning high school traffic to end before setting up to work in the roadway. SCE and IEUA are also required to keep one lane open in each direction. In addition, access to the trail from Eucalyptus Avenue above the park will be prohibited periodically when required for safety.
